Your Aged Care or Disability funding may provide support for a variety of cleaning tasks, such as laundry, mopping, and making beds. This support helps to ensure your home remains a clean and comfortable place to live.​

Home Cleaning as Disability Support

The NDIS offers funding for cleaning services if it will help you to manage your disability and support you in achieving your personal goals.

Funding for cleaning is covered under Daily Activities in your Core Supports budget.

To be eligible for cleaning services, the support must be considered reasonable and necessary.

Home cleaning help for older people

You may be able to use your Aged Care funding on cleaning services so you can remain living in your for longer.

Your Home Care Package (transitioning to Support at Home 1 November 2025) provides funding for help at home, which includes cleaning services, to keep your home liveable.
